At Happy Smiles Orthodontics, our mission is to create confident, healthy smiles through personalized orthodontic care. We are dedicated to serving the St. Augustine community and surrounding areas with advanced treatments, compassionate service, and a commitment to excellence.

My Journey in Orthodontics

I began my education at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where I earned my Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. My dedication to learning and serving others led me to the United States Army, where I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Benning, GA and earned my parachutist badge after attending airborne school.

Following my military service, I pursued specialized training in orthodontics at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, completing a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. I’m proud to be board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction that reflects my expertise and dedication to delivering exceptional results.

What I Love About Orthodontics

For me, orthodontics is about more than straightening teeth—it’s about transforming lives. I take pride in creating treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, using the latest technology and techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes. Watching my patients’ confidence grow as their smiles improve is the most rewarding part of what I do.

Life Outside the Office

When I’m not helping patients, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the vibrant communities around St. Augustine. I love staying active, whether it’s playing golf near World Golf Village, exploring local parks, or finding new favorite spots in the area. My time in the Army taught me the importance of balance, and I bring that same perspective to my personal and professional life.
